* A request for quotation (RFQ) is a standard business process whose purpose is to invite suppliers into a bidding process to bid on specific products or services. An RFQ typically involves more than the price per item. Information like payment terms, quality level per item or contract length are possible to be requested during the bidding process.

To receive correct quotes, RFQs often include the specifications of the items/services to make sure all the suppliers are bidding on the same item/service. Logically, the more detailed the specifications, the more accurate the quote will be and comparable to the other suppliers. Another reason for being detailed in sending out an RFQ is that the specifications could be used as legal binding documentation for the suppliers.

An RFQ allows different contractors to provide a quotation, among which the best will be selected. Requests for quotations are most commonly used in the business environment but can also be found being applied to domestic markets.

5. Set its value to 1.

Since this code contains PDF Share Forms form submission code, it should replace standard code associated with “Save” button. To replace code, select “Save” button and click Actions button on the ribbon. Here we need to remove standard JavaScript code (click on the close button) and add custom (click on Javascript action in the menu on the left and drag-n-drop it in the main window). Click on the green field “enter script” and paste your code here. Press ok and deploy the form.

Now, when new form is going to be submitted, user must accept terms and conditions in the form – the only correct state for the check box element is “checked”.

Here we’ll learn how to return Firefox to its default status and use Acrobat Reader to work with PDF files. It’s only couple of steps, but please pay attention to details.

So, first of all we need to open Tools → Options. Settings dialog window will open. Go to Application tab. Find every content type somehow connected with PDF. It could be Adobe Acrobat Forms Document, Adobe LiveCycle Designer Document, PDF document, Portable Document Format (PDF).

Click to each of required content types and choose action from the Action column. In drop down list choose “Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)” if you wish documents to be opened inside the browser’s window. Choose “Use Adobe Acrobat” if you wish documents to be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Please note, Mozilla will display “Adobe Acrobat” even if you only have Reader. So it is ok.

Let’s say, we wish to have sender’s e-mail address and subject to be stored in the form. Then we need to add corresponding fields in the form: EmailFrom and EmailSubject.

Now it’s time for script.

Go to “Developer” tab and press “Form Submit” button. Drag and drop “Execute script” option from the list on the left. Place it above “Save Form” option. Click on the “enter script” field. Usually it’s green color. And input your script.

Compile script. If it is ok, save it. And deploy the form. Let’s see, what we have now. Now, when form is filled-in and sent to server, data from the original mail will be synchronized with the SharePoint columns and with the form itself.
